V2C Forum 2009 is proud to host the official launch of Global Venture Lab, in Finland, and the birth of the GVL Network. Global Venture Lab is a university based business creation platform dedicated to problems worth solving. GVL is empowered by globally connected faculty, students, and alumni of business competence. The first GVL kickoff took place in the USA, at UC Berkeley, on November 21, 2008, followed by India and IIT Kharagpur, on January 8. The GVL kickoff in Finland, at JYU, marks the birth of the GVL Network.

Since 2001, V2C Forum has served as a meeting place for growth-oriented entrepreneurs, knowledge (or “V2C”) -- investors, business angels, venture capitalists, different private and public sector advisors and financiers, as well as policy makers, researchers, and students dedicated to building business from venture-to-capital.
